Danica Hanson is an experienced professional currently serving as the After School Activities and Sports Coordinator at The Montessori School of San Antonio since January 2024. Danica has held multiple roles in the education sector, including Head Coach and Substitute Teacher at Montessori Education since September 2021. Additionally, Danica has a strong background in mental health services, having worked as a Mental Health Worker at Laurel Ridge Treatment Center since June 2020 and previously at Touchstone Mental Health. Other roles include Appointment Setter at Momentum Solar, Event Manager at Executive Marketing Group, Case Manager at Central Minnesota Mental Health Center, and various positions in retail. Danica holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Hamline University, completed in 2019.

In 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center opened its doors to provide specialized behavioral health care and addiction treatment on a therapeutic 18-acre campus, located in North Central San Antonio, Texas. Our 250-bed facility was designed with one mission in mind: Saving Lives, Healing Families, Creating Hope. The facility includes a charter school, gymnasium, recreational facility, playgrounds, swimming pool, ROPES (Reality-Oriented Physical Experiential Situation Course), library and dining room.
