Nefertari Carver

Nefertari Carver is a Senior Vice President at Laurel Strategies. She has extensive experience in external affairs, strategic communications, and public-private partnerships. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Vice President at the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) a national non-profit organization which develops national programs for candidates pursuing architectural licensure and helps architects expand their professional reach. At NCARB, she developed a national campaign to develop a more diverse pool of candidates for Governors to appoint to licensing boards. Prior to NCARB, she worked at AARP’s Public Policy Institute where she developed a national coalition of philanthropic, business, and non-profit organizations to advocate for legislative and policy changes to advance the role of nurses in health care delivery. Nefertari has also managed national media outreach at Donna Brazile and Associates, LLC and served in the offices of Congresswoman Barbara Lee.

Nefertari holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Public Administration and Certificate in non-profit management from Villanova University.
