Augusto Cruz is the Owner and Principal of Layer Solutions Ltd, a Calgary-based firm specializing in Civil, Structural, and Architectural solutions, established in 2007. With extensive experience in the civil and structural design sector, Augusto has held various managerial and lead design roles at notable companies, including Lauren Services Canada and Bluestar Engineering Ltd. Previous positions involved responsibilities such as leading design teams and preparing comprehensive drawings and estimates for multiple projects in the oil and gas, commercial, and heavy industrial sectors. Augusto holds multiple credentials from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Calgary, including degrees in Architectural Technologist and Fine Arts, complemented by specialized training in process piping drafting and design.
