Geoffrey Barton

Geoffrey Barton is an experienced designer and project manager specializing in lighting and event production. Since June 2017, Geoffrey has been self-employed, providing creative and design services. Concurrently, since November 2017, Geoffrey serves as the Artist In Residence at Laurence School, offering artistic direction for school performances involving lighting, sound, set, and scenic artistry. Geoffrey has extensive experience in event production, including roles at Barton Designs, where project management includes creating immersive event spaces, and Loto Lighting, as Design Assistant. Previous positions include Crew Lead at Impact Lighting & Production and Theater Technician at Kinetic Lighting, focusing on atmosphere creation and equipment setup. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design and Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, earned between 2012 and 2017.
