Shilpa Ghosh has extensive experience in sales, business development, and research within biotechnology and biopharma sectors. Currently serving as Lead in Sales and Business Development at Laurus Bio since May 2019, Shilpa oversees the global strategy for the Animal Origin Free Recombinant Protein Portfolio, targeting customer segments including biopharma, stem cells, cell therapy, and cultivated meat. Prior roles include Senior Product Manager at Laurus Bio and Research Fellow at the University of Freiburg, as well as various scientific positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Pfizer, Evolva SA, ITC Limited, and the Indian Institute of Science. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law.
