Patrik Liljecrantz has a strong background in the gaming industry, with experience in various roles at different companies. Patrik started their career at Gamemaker, where they served as a member of the advisory board from October 2007 to November 2009. After that, they joined Muskedunder Interactive as a Technical Artist and board member from November 2005 to February 2012. At Muskedunder, they focused on developing advergames and casual games for brand owners, as well as capitalizing on internally owned intellectual properties through game portals and partnerships. In 2012, they co-founded Free Lunch Design and took on the role of Co-Founder & Technical Artist, as well as a member of the board. In April 2014, Free Lunch Design was acquired by Palringo, a global group messaging company, and Patrik became the Head of Games Development. Patrik held this position until December 2016. In 2017, they became a co-owner, technical artist, and programmer at Lavapotion.

Patrik Liljecrantz attended GameMaker from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on game development. Patrik did not obtain a degree during this period. In September 2014, they also obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
