Kristina Buchthal Alkass

Kristina Buchthal Alkass is an experienced associate attorney at Lavelle Law, Ltd., specializing in commercial, business, collection, and divorce litigation since May 2009. Prior to this role, Kristina served as a law clerk at National Railway Equipment Co. from 2007 to 2009 and held editorial and reporting positions at Restaurants & Institutions and Crain's Chicago Business, respectively. Kristina began a career in journalism reporting for The Indianapolis Star from 2000 to 2004. Academically, Kristina obtained a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University in 2001.
