Benoit Yelle

Benoit Yelle, ing. is a Partner and Patent Agent in the Intellectual Property group at Lavery Avocats since September 2022, focusing on helping companies develop and monetize intangible assets. Additionally, Benoit serves as a member of the Discipline Committee for the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents (CPATA) since December 2021. Previously, Benoit worked as a Partner at Gowling WLG from January 2011 to September 2022, specializing in drafting and prosecuting patent applications and managing patent portfolios. Benoit's experience also includes roles at Ericsson, where responsibilities included patent portfolio management and the administration of a patent database. Benoit holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, completed in 2001.
