The Law Council of Australia represents more than 90,000 Australian legal professionals through its constituent member bar associations, law societies and Law Firms Australia, on national issues, and promotes the administration of justice, access to justice and general improvement of the law. The Law Council also represents the Australian legal profession overseas, and maintains close relationships with legal professional bodies throughout the world. Individual membership is available to the Law Council’s specialist Sections, including Business Law, Family Law, Federal Litigation and Dispute Resolution, International Law and Legal Practice.
