Brooke Heymach (Friedman) is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in pro bono programs and advocacy for children's health. Currently serving as the Directing Attorney for Pro Bono at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, Brooke leads the development and management of various pro bono initiatives. Brooke's involvement includes advisory roles at Stanford Children's Health and the Health Plan of San Mateo, as well as previously holding the position of Legal Director at the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, where a medical-legal partnership was established. Brooke's early career included legislative advocacy and law clerk positions that focused on child welfare and rights. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, a Master's in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology from the same institution.
