Sarah Rocklin, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources and volunteer management. Sarah is currently the Human Resources Director at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, where they oversee all HR functions and ensures the necessary strategies and programs are in place to achieve the organization's mission of social and racial justice. Prior to this, Sarah held various roles at Project Open Hand, including Director and Manager of Human Resources, where they provided generalist HR support and managed agency systems. Sarah also served as the Associate Director and Manager of Volunteer Services, where they developed recruitment and retention strategies and managed over 1,000 volunteers. Sarah's earlier experience includes roles as a Volunteer Coordinator at the Stern Grove Festival Association, Market Manager at La Cocina, Manager at Fresh Organics Grocery, Health Educator Assistant Intern with the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, and Program Coordinator and Literacy Tutor with AmeriCorps.
Sarah Rocklin, SHRM-CP has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Global Studies: Politics and Socioeconomics from UC Santa Barbara, which they earned from 2000 to 2004. In 2008 to 2010, they attended Bauman College and obtained a certification as a Certified Nutrition Educator and Consultant, specializing in Holistic Nutrition. Additionally, Sarah Rocklin has received additional certifications including an Executive Fellowship from OneJustice in June 2023 and a SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in June 2017.
