Valerie C. Shore

Valerie C. Shore, Esq. is currently serving as the Lead Attorney for the Law Offices of Eric A Shore, starting in March 2022. Previously, they worked as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender at the Office of Parental Representation from September 2018 to March 2022. Prior to that, Valerie was an Associate Attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from October 2016 to September 2018. Valerie also gained experience as an intern to Justice Barry T. Albin at the Supreme Court of NJ from January 2016 to May 2016. Valerie served as a Clinical Legal Intern in Child Advocacy at the Child Advocacy Clinic at Rutgers School of Law-Newark from August 2014 to May 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Legal Intern at Bristol-Myers Squibb in July 2015. Valerie has also held positions as an Associate Policy Analyst and Hon. Deborah T. Poritz Fellow at Advocates for Children of New Jersey from May 2014 to May 2015. Valerie has volunteered as a coach and facilitator for the NJ Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) since January 2010. From December 2010 to November 2012, Valerie worked as a Home Health Aide for a private client, and prior to that, they served as an Administrative Assistant for a private employer from September 2007 to December 2010.

Valerie C. Shore, Esq. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick in 2011. Their fields of study included Sociology, Criminology, and Africana Studies. From 2011 to 2016, Valerie attended Rutgers Law School, where they received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with magna cum laude honors. In 2021, they obtained a certification in "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" from Coursera.
