Tara McPhail

Tara McPhail is the Director of Discipline and External Litigation at the Law Society of British Columbia. Prior to this role, Tara was a Counsel in Labour and Employee Relations at Metro Vancouver Transit Police/TransLink. Tara also served as a Staff Lawyer in Investigations, Monitoring & Enforcement at the Law Society of British Columbia. Tara's legal experience includes working as a Legal Associate in Labour & Employment at McCarthy Tétrault, and as a Consultant in the Democratic Governance Unit at UNDP. Tara holds a BCL/LLB in Law from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Political Science from Queen's University.
