Julie Lawless

Julie Lawless is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience across various sectors, including animal health, nutrition, and corporate communications. As the President of Lawless Strategic Communications since 2022, Julie focuses on delivering impactful corporate communications counsel to companies serving animals and their stakeholders. Prior to this role, Julie held several senior positions at Elanco Animal Health, where responsibilities included leading global corporate affairs and communications functions. Earlier in their career, Julie served in communications roles at Mars Petcare, Nissan, and Quilogy, among others, while also beginning their professional journey as a reporter at KPLR-TV. Julie holds a degree in Communication with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
