Cindy Rivera

Cindy Rivera is an experienced school social worker currently serving as a School Site Social Worker with Lawndale Elementary School District since July 2022, following a previous role as a School Social Worker at Gabriella Charter Schools. Cindy began their career in social work as a Social Work Intern and has held various positions including Counseling Assistant and School Counseling Intern, contributing to support services across multiple educational settings. With a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from California State University-Northridge, Cindy has developed a strong foundation in counseling, client relations, and educational support. Additionally, Cindy has experience in media as a Reporter and Editing Assistant, further enhancing communication skills.
