Marianne Paley Nadel

Marianne Paley Nadel is an experienced professional in community development and project management. Currently serving as the DyeWorks Project Director at Lawrence CommunityWorks, Inc. since September 2022, Marianne previously owned and managed Everett Mills Real Estate, LLC from March 2008 to April 2021, overseeing extensive historic mill space and engaging in community and economic development initiatives in the Merrimack Valley. As the Founding Executive Director of Groundwork Lawrence from 1998 to 2004, Marianne transformed the organization into a recognized model for sustainable community development, focusing on environmental improvements and public-private partnerships. Earlier in their career, Marianne worked as a Project Manager at ICON Architecture from 1993 to 1996. Educationally, Marianne holds a Master's degree in Urban Studies and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Brandeis University.
