The Lawrence Family Development Charter School (LFDCS) is under the blanket of the Lawrence Family Development and Education Fund, Inc (LFDEF): a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The LFDCS is a K-8 charter school institution serving the local community's youth. In addition, the LFDEF provides a citizenship program, job training, ESL, and a YouthBuild partnership.
