Michelle Martignetti has a strong background in early childhood education, ranging from teaching toddlers to pre-K students. With experience in developing and implementing curriculum and managing classroom routines, Michelle has also taken on the role of a Special Education Teacher at Lawrence Family Development Charter School since August 2016. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, a Master's degree in Special Education, and an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The Lawrence Family Development Charter School (LFDCS) is under the blanket of the Lawrence Family Development and Education Fund, Inc (LFDEF): a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The LFDCS is a K-8 charter school institution serving the local community's youth. In addition, the LFDEF provides a citizenship program, job training, ESL, and a YouthBuild partnership. The school's Mission Statement is “Strong families, working in partnership with the school as advocates for academic achievement, will create an environment where every child has the opportunity to acquire the foundation skills and habits of mind that foster life-long learning, citizenship participation, and personal fulfillment.”
