Ryan Middlemiss is an experienced educator and program director with a strong background in physical education and youth enrichment programs. Currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher at Spark Academy and Lawrence Family Development Charter School, Ryan also holds the position of Program Director for School Enrichment/Adelante at Merrimack Valley YMCA since August 2016 and has been the Youth Director at Lawrence YMCA since August 2010. Ryan Middlemiss obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management from Daniel Webster College between 2006 and 2008 and is a graduate of Methuen High School.

The Lawrence Family Development Charter School (LFDCS) is under the blanket of the Lawrence Family Development and Education Fund, Inc (LFDEF): a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The LFDCS is a K-8 charter school institution serving the local community's youth. In addition, the LFDEF provides a citizenship program, job training, ESL, and a YouthBuild partnership. The school's Mission Statement is “Strong families, working in partnership with the school as advocates for academic achievement, will create an environment where every child has the opportunity to acquire the foundation skills and habits of mind that foster life-long learning, citizenship participation, and personal fulfillment.”
