Mark Coleman

Mark Coleman, PMP, serves as the Deputy Principal Associate Director (acting) and Department Head of Project Management Operations at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where responsibilities include developing a unified project management system for over 250 construction projects totaling more than $1 billion. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Plas-Tal Manufacturing Company as Director of the Industrial Division and at Columbia Steel, Inc. as Director of Project Management, where Mark transformed the project management office through continuous improvement initiatives. Mark Coleman has also held senior positions at TerraPower LLC, Orano, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and PSEG, managing significant capital project portfolios across various sectors, including nuclear, energy, aerospace, and manufacturing. Notable achievements include delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and under budget and enhancing contract performance within complex environments. Mark Coleman holds degrees from The University of Texas at Arlington, University of Portland, and University of Delaware.
