Nicholas Newcomb

Nicholas Newcomb has extensive experience in electrical engineering and nuclear operations. Currently serving as an Associate Electrical Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since June 2020, Nicholas has designed active integrator circuits for high-voltage pulsed power systems and developed Python software for data analysis and visualization. Previously, Nicholas had a distinguished career in the US Navy, where roles included Reactor Controls Division Manager, Nuclear Power Plant Supervisor, Nuclear Reactor Operator, and Reactor Training Division Lead Instructor, overseeing reactor operations, managing personnel, and enhancing training programs. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the University of California, Davis.
