Sofia Taylor

Sofia Taylor is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Graduate Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since May 2023, Sofia has previously held internships at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and as an Energy Management Intern at North Carolina State University, where responsibilities included documenting energy conversion projects. Additional experience includes leading a battery lifecycle initiative as a Technology Team Volunteer for All We Are, conducting research on wave energy converters at University College Cork, and serving as a Development Intern for the Aquidneck Land Trust. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, completed in 2020.
