Vernon K. Kanz

Vernon K. Kanz is an accomplished Senior Engineering Associate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where employment has been held since March 1996. Prior to this role, Vernon served as a Senior Mechanical Systems Technician at AlliedSignal Technical Services from January 1988 to March 1996, working on the AVLIS Project as a contractor at LLNL. Additional experience includes working as a Laser Technician at BioQuantum Technologies, Inc. from September 1986 to September 1987, focusing on laser manufacturing and system design, and serving in a similar capacity at Texas Instruments from September 1983 to June 1985, where work involved building and testing Laser/Target Designators. Vernon holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Laser Electro-optics from Texas State Technical College, acquired between 1980 and 1983.
