Allen House

Allen House is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles within both government and private sectors. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Security since May 2002, Allen has been instrumental in delivering advanced scientific devices, particularly x-ray diagnostics for the U.S. Department of Energy, supporting nuclear stockpile stewardship and Inertial Confinement Fusion missions. Previous positions include Mechanical Engineering Manager at SURx, where a medical device for surgical applications was developed, and Engineering Manager at Lifescan Inc., overseeing a team focused on medical diagnostic products. Throughout Allen's career, responsibilities have included managing teams of engineers and technicians across various disciplines, with early work as a Mechanical Engineer involved in the design of mechanical subsystems for the Super Conducting Super Collider at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Allen holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
