Ahmed al-Bayati

Ahmed Al-Bayati, PhD, PE, Associate DBIA™, is an accomplished educator and professional in the fields of construction engineering and management. Currently serving as a Construction Professor at Lawrence Technological University since June 2019, Ahmed teaches courses such as Construction Project Management and Principles of Design-Build. Additionally, Ahmed is the Director at Construction & Safety Management, LLC, providing expert witness services, OSHA training, and safety consulting. Previous academic roles include adjunct and assistant professorships at Western Carolina University, along with professional experience in safety coordination, construction inspection, and as a construction engineer for the Provincial Reconstruction Team. Ahmed holds a PhD in Construction Engineering from Western Michigan University, a Master's degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Babylon.
