Duane Shortt

Duane Shortt, PhD, serves as an Engineering Manager in Manufacturing Simulation at Stellantis since August 2018. Additionally, Duane is an Adjunct Professor in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Oakland University, where responsibilities include developing and instructing courses on computer simulation of discrete event systems for undergraduate and graduate students. At Lawrence Technological University, Duane teaches multiple courses related to manufacturing and industrial engineering and acts as an industrial advisor for PhD students. Previous experience includes a Project Manager role at Inalfa Roof Systems Group, various managerial and engineering positions at Webasto Roof Systems and General Motors, and a Manufacturing Engineer role at ZF TRW.
