Pam Houghton

Pam started a freelance writing career while working for Unisys Corporation, where she gained over 20 years of experience in corporate publications and software manufacturing with a focus on process engineering, internal customer satisfaction, and LEAN manufacturing practices. Over time, Pam transitioned to writing features for a variety of publications and websites, writing on topics ranging from health, parenting, and business to employment, technology, and higher education.

Pam started working for Lawrence Technological University in 2014 as a part-time editor, writer, and administrator of print and digital advertising in Marketing and Public Affairs. In 2020, she transitioned to full-time employment at the university, where she supports the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement and the Marketing and Public Affairs department as a Development Communications Editor and Writer, including content creation and project management activities. Pam graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. from MSU’s College of Business.
