Ross Sanders

Director, Industry Partnerships & Entrepreneurship at Lawrence Technological University

Ross Sanders is the Director of Industry Partnerships and Entrepreneurship at Lawrence Technological University where he assists organizations in accessing University resources and works to advance the University’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. In this capacity, he has assisted with the launch of an entrepreneurship accelerator by helping to secure $4.1 million in grant awards and recruiting its leaders. He has also been instrumental in the launch of the University’s Construction Safety Research Center, cornerstone entrepreneurship course, innovation event series and youth entrepreneurship programs.

Prior to joining the University, he was the CEO of Bizdom, an entrepreneurship program that operated in Detroit and Cleveland. He led this non-profit to mentor 80 tech-based startups, assist in raising $17 million in startup investment, provide over 550 startup events, raise over $20 million in donations and play a key role in economic revitalization. He served as a member of Quicken Loan’s Executive leadership team for 10 years, has a Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University, a Bachelors in Business Administration from Michigan State University, and been recognized as one of the top 100 leaders advancing technology innovation in Detroit.
