Tom Marx

Tom Marx is a distinguished academic and industry expert with extensive experience in economic policy and leadership development. Currently serving as a College Professor and Director of the Center for Global Leadership and Understanding at Lawrence Technological University since 2005, Tom teaches global leadership, economics, and strategic planning while directing programs aimed at cultivating future leaders. Prior roles include General Director of Economic Policy at General Motors Corporation, where Tom oversaw critical economic studies related to the automotive market and public policy, and Economic Consultant at Foster Associates, focusing on the energy sector. Earlier in the career, Tom contributed as an Economist at the Federal Trade Commission. Tom holds a Ph.D. in Economics from The Wharton School and a B.S. in Commerce and Economics from Rider University.
