Charity Thomas (Hochstetler)

Charity Hochstetler Thomas is an experienced educator specializing in early childhood and special education. Currently serving as a Developmental Preschool Teacher at MSD of Decatur Township since July 2019, Charity previously held positions as a Preschool of the Arts Instructor for Lawrence Township School District and a Special Education Teacher at Family Development Services, Inc. from August 2015 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes working as a Childcare Worker at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and as a Barista at Starbucks from January 2007 to 2013. Charity holds two Bachelor's degrees from Ball State University in Early Childhood Special Education and Teaching as well as Special Education and Teaching, earned between 2002 and 2006.
