Ngoc Tran, currently the engineering lead at [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades), has a long and varied history as a paralegal. Ngoc began their career in February 2016 with Baker McKenzie Vietnam and worked there until November of that year. Ngoc then took on an internship at Meitus Gelbert Rose LLP from October 2015 to December 2015 before interning at Sniderman Nguyen LLP from May 2015 to November 2015. Ngoc's final internship was at the Indiana Supreme Court, where they worked from May 2015 to August 2015. After their various internships, Ngoc took on the role of paralegal at Leadco Legal Counsel from November 2017 to December 2019.

Ngoc Tran has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Ngoc also has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Business Law from Vietnam National University School of Law Hanoi. Ngoc is certified by the Vietnam Bar Federation in Lawyer License.

Lauren was previously the Head Of Development at JerseySTEM and before that, they were the Director, Tech and Investment at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Lauren has also worked as a Client Development Specialist at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Lauren is skilled in client relations and has a passion for helping Founders succeed.

Melissa La Forest is currently a Senior Account Manager at [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades). Prior to joining [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades), they spent two and a half years at ClassPass as an Account Associate. In their role at ClassPass, Melissa managed a book of 100+ business accounts, building long-term and successful partnerships. Melissa also contributed to soft churn and escalation projects, contributing to Account Associate and Success Team goals. Melissa was able to decrease onboarding time for new hires by developing clear communication systems for processes and best practices resulting in increased output, decreased SLA times, and new collaboration between departments.

Before ClassPass, Melissa worked as a Catering Event Manager at Praha Inc. for three years. And before that, they spent six months as an Event Sales Coordinator at Vail Resorts. Melissa has also been a Snowboard Coach at Park City since 2008.

Brian Ryu is a software engineer who currently works at [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades). Brian previously worked as a student software engineer at [Flatiron School](/org/flatiron-school) from February 2019 to May 2019. Andrew Simon is the current Product Manager at [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades). Prior to this, they were a Senior Product Manager at [Workrise](/org/workrise) from August 2020 to February 2022. There, they directed a team of four that was responsible for managing marketplace dynamics and existing driver retention for Houston and the surrounding markets. Andrew also partnered with airports, venues, and events, and earned a special project opportunity with the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. During their time at [Workrise](/org/workrise), they oversaw operations during Super Bowl LI in Houston, setting up rider lounge partnerships, creating staffing plans for teams of 20, and managing marketplace dynamics. Andrew coordinated with a nine-member leadership team to identify goals and conduct employee performance evaluations for all Texas markets.

Before their time at [Workrise](/org/workrise), Andrew Simon was the Head of Product Operations, [Uber](/org/uber) Eats Marketplace and Courier at [Uber](/org/uber) from February 2015 to May 2020. There, they led a team of 17 Product Operations Managers across [Uber](/org/uber) Eats tech offices in San Francisco and New York. Andrew hired and onboarded 14 new employees, providing training on topics including new product launch and stakeholder management. Andrew prepared and delivered business insights and reports to product teams of 25+, resulting in pricing, logistics, consumer, and courier mobile app improvements. Additionally, they developed and launched the Eats Pass subscriptions model, increasing subscription count by 3X within one month. Finally, they constructed and executed improvements to the tipping experience, courier earnings and incentives, waypoint time prediction, and order handoff experience - reducing costs by 20% per trip.

Raad Ahmed is the founder and CEO of [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades), a company that provides legal services for businesses. Prior to starting [Lawtrades](/org/lawtrades), Ahmed worked as a law clerk for the Texas Civil Rights Project, where they conducted legal research and writing on a variety of economic and civil rights issues. Raad Ahmed began their educational career by attending St. John's University, where they earned a BS in Legal Studies and Philosophy of Law. Raad then attended the University at Buffalo School of Law, where they earned their J.D. After law school, they attended 500 Startups, a startup accelerator.
