Ben Hill

Ben Hill is an experienced professional in applied machine learning and software engineering, with a strong background in agricultural sciences. At Snorkel AI, Ben served as an Applied Machine Learning Engineer from November 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, Ben held the position of Senior Software Engineer specializing in machine learning at Orbita from July 2020 to November 2021, and worked as a Software Engineer at indico data, Upstream Tech, and Weather Analytics in various roles, ranging from backend development to technical consulting. Ben's career began at the University of New Hampshire, where roles included Program Manager and Research Assistant. Ben's educational qualifications include Master of Science degrees in Agricultural Sciences with a focus on Soil Chemistry and Physics from both the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and the University of Hohenheim, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University.
