Omer Genca

Omer Genca has extensive work experience in business development and project management roles. Omer currently serves as the Director of Business Development at LAYERMARK and as the VP Global Business Development at qulak. Prior to these positions, Omer held roles as the VP Business Development at BTG (Bilgi ve Teknoloji Grubu) and as a Business Development & Project Management professional at TNI Systems.

Earlier in their career, Omer demonstrated strong leadership and strategic skills as the Regional Director for Turkey, Greece, Cyprus & Malta at HTC, where they successfully led a turnaround project and implemented operational restructuring. Omer also served as a Partner at Benefit Health Care & Consultancy, where they were involved in strategic consulting.

Before this, Omer worked at Nokia Alps, South East Europe, where they managed various markets and achieved significant sales growth and market share. Omer also held roles at 3M as a Sales & Marketing Supervisor and at Ford Motor Company and Koç Holding as an MIS Implementation Team Leader and Head of the Automotive Department respectively.

Omer Genca began their education at TED Ankara Koleji in 1980 and completed their studies in 1989. Omer then pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University from 1989 to 1994. Following this, in 1994, they attended Istanbul University and studied International Business Management until 1995.
