Josh Mercer-Deadman

Josh Mercer-Deadman is currently the Business Development, Financial Services Lead at LayerZero Labs, a position held since February 2024. Previously, from January 2022 to November 2023, Josh managed global relationships as an Account Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on the global financial services sector and overseeing strategic partnerships worth over $250 million. Prior experience includes a decade at SWIFT, where roles spanned Global Account Manager for Key Clients, Customer Solutions Manager for Financial Crime, and various consulting positions related to sanctions. Earlier in Josh's career, experience as an Associate Professional Services Consultant at FircoSoft was also noted. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Reading, completed in 2012, and graduated from Rhodes College in high school in 2008.
