Roman Ovchinnikov

Roman Ovchinnikov is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the VP of System Engineering Automation at Lazada Group since April 2016, focusing on optimizing IT infrastructure to support nearly 500 million customers. Prior to this role, Roman held leadership positions at ECOMMPAY as Head of System Engineering Automation and at JSC "National Service Company" as Head of System Administration, overseeing mixed environments and ensuring system performance and stability. Earlier career experiences include positions as System Administrator at Lamoda Group and Mail.ru Group, where Roman contributed to system administration and major projects. Roman holds a Master's degree in Information Systems in Economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, obtained between 1998 and 2003.
