Prasun Agarwal

Prasun Agarwal is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Research/Portfolio Manager at Lazard since September 2025. Prior to this role, Prasun held the position of Research Analyst at GMO from March 2009 to September 2025, where responsibilities included managing both developed and emerging market portfolios using systematic strategies and conducting quantitative research and trading. Prasun's experience also includes working as a Quantitative Trading Researcher at Numeric Investors, a Senior Consultant at CBIZ Valuation Group, and various engineering roles at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd. and Schlumberger. Prasun holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, an MBA in Finance and Accounting from SMU Cox School of Business, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
