Todd Alberstone

Todd Alberstone has over three decades of work experience in various legal and business roles. Todd is currently serving as the General Counsel at Lazarus Naturals, a leading CBD company. Todd has been working with Lazarus Naturals since 2017 through their own legal services firm, Stone/Tree Legal Services, PLLC.

Prior to Lazarus Naturals, Todd Alberstone worked as the Principal at Stone/Tree Legal Services, providing legal and business affairs services to technology-based ventures, with a focus on digital media, financial technology, and payments industry. Todd also served as the Counsel, Board Advisor, and Corporate Secretary at Appnique from 2016 to 2019.

From 2016 to 2017, Todd Alberstone worked as the General Counsel at Gravity Payments. Before that, they were the Vice President and General Counsel at Cardiac Science Corporation, overseeing all legal affairs for the technology and medical device company.

Earlier in their career, Todd Alberstone worked as the Director of Intellectual Property Management at the University of Washington, managing the university's intellectual property assets. Todd also served as the Associate General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at RealNetworks, a media and technology company, where they directed a wide range of legal affairs.

Todd Alberstone started their legal career at national law firms, including Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP and Kinsella Boesch Fujikawa & Towle, where they handled commercial litigation and transactional matters primarily for clients in the media, software, and entertainment industries.

Todd began their legal career as a Law Clerk to U.S. District Court Judge John G. Davies.

Todd Alberstone earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington for the academic year 2021-2022. Prior to that, they pursued a JD degree in Law from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, from 1982 to 1985. Todd Alberstone's undergraduate education includes a BA degree in Economics (Honors) from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed between 1977 and 1981.
