James Amos

James Amos has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1986. James'sfirst job was as a Project Engineer for Diebold in 1986. James then worked as a HW Engineer for Quatech, Inc. from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, they worked as a Sr. Hardware Engineer for Aironet Wireless Communications. During this time, they also worked as a Hardware Engineering Manager and Technical Leader for Cisco Systems, Inc. from 1999 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they were the Director of Network Platforms for Aclara RF. From 2010 to 2019, they worked as the Director of Applications for Focus Design Technologies, LLC, where they were responsible for providing direct support for customer applications in a wide range of industries. Most recently, they have been a Senior Architect and Engineer for Lazurite since 2019.

James Amos received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron in 1986, having started their studies in 1981.
