Miguel Galarza

Miguel Galarza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and construction management. Serving as President at Yerba Buena Engineering and Construction Inc since January 2002, Miguel also holds the position of Board Vice Chair at the Contractors State License Board since July 2020, following a reappointment by Governor Gavin Newsom. In academia, Miguel is a University Lecturer at UC Berkeley Extension and a Faculty Lecturer at City College of San Francisco, focusing on construction cost estimation techniques. Additionally, Miguel serves as a Business Mentor with the Latino Business Action Network since August 2017 and has a history as a Board Member for the San Francisco Bay Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce from 2003 to 2006. Miguel's prior roles include serving as a DoD Program Manager at Mendelian Construction Inc and a Project Manager at Hopkins Heating & Cooling. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Everglades University, among other qualifications.

Latino Business Action Network (LBAN) is a dynamic Silicon Valley based nonprofit with a big mission to strengthen the U.S. economy by empowering Latino Entrepreneurship across the country.
