Tobias Schmelz has worked in various roles since 2008. Tobias began their career at FrieslandCampina as an Intern Production Manager. In 2011, they moved to Ingredion Incorporated as an Account Manager and Sr. Technical Service Technologist, providing technical support to the sales force and developing customer solutions in cross-functional teams. In 2015, they joined IMCD N.V. as an Account Manager and Principal Manager. Currently, they are employed as a Principal Manager at LBB Specialties.

Tobias Schmelz attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2009-2010, and then went on to the University of Hohenheim where they earned a Master of Science in Food Technology in 2010. In 2014, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Coursera Verified Certificate in Better Leader, Richer Life.
