Anitha Rao

Anitha Rao MD is a highly experienced Medical Affairs and Strategy Consultant at Rao Global Advisory since December 2022, specializing in neurology and neuroscience for biotechnology and digital health companies. Anitha Rao serves as Chair of the Geriatrics Section at the American Academy of Neurology and has held the position of Attending Hospital Neurologist in a private practice since 2013. Anitha Rao is also an Executive Board Member of the Lewy Body Dementia Association and a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Toledo. Formerly the CEO and Founder of Neurocern, Anitha Rao led initiatives in artificial intelligence and neuroinformatics. Anitha Rao holds an M.D. from The University of Toledo, a Fellowship in Dementia and Behavioral Neurology from the University of California, San Francisco, and an M.A. in Medical Anthropology from Case Western Reserve University.
