Brent Lee, MACC

Brent Lee has a diverse work experience history spanning multiple industries and roles. Brent began their career in 2004 as an Investment Analyst at Michigan State Credit Union, where they assisted with payroll processing and identified audit issues. Brent then worked at Verizon Wireless as a Staff Accountant, overseeing fiscal activities and budgeting. At RBC Bank, Brent managed accounting operations and performed reconciliations. Subsequently, they joined Classworks as a Staff Accountant, implementing GAAP-compliant financial reporting systems. Brent then moved on to BrandBank as a Senior Accountant, coordinating month-end closing processes and implementing financial systems. Brent later joined Crawford & Company as a Senior Analyst, reviewing and consolidating international financials. At Credit Union Loan Source, Brent served as the Vice President and Controller, creating and managing the accounting department while leading the financial budgeting and forecasting process. Most recently, they joined VTS Group as the Finance Director, where they managed forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities while working on initiatives with Zone Finance Directors and Strategy teams. Brent currently works as a Senior Financial Systems Consultant at LBMC Technology Solutions, specializing in Sage Intacct.

Brent Lee, MACC, completed their Master of Accountancy (MACC) degree in Accounting at Mercer University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 1999 to 2004, where they focused on Marketing. In addition to their educational background, Brent has obtained certifications as a Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist and a Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist from Sage Intacct, Inc. in May 2022.
