Urooj Chandwany

Urooj Chandwany is an experienced optometrist currently serving as an Optometrist and Center Leader at LasikPlus (LCA-Vision Inc.) since December 2020. Previously, Urooj worked as an optometrist at Texas Eye and Vision Associates from September 2019 to December 2020 and completed an externship at Hope Clinic in early 2019, focusing on acute ocular infections and ocular disease management. Urooj also gained clinical experience during a tenure at Northeastern State University, treating chronic dry eye and collaborating on laser surgical procedures. Early career roles include positions as an optometric assistant at Arboretum Eye Professionals and Lifetime Eyecare Associates, as well as a practice management intern at Spring-Klein Vision Center. Urooj holds a Doctorate from the University of Houston and degrees in Biological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and Oxford College of Emory University.
