Andrew's extensive career also includes significant roles as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, Umow Lai & Associates, Norman Disney & Young, GHD, FDT Associates Ltd, Multi Design Consultants Ltd, Design Group Partnership Ltd, and Povall Flood & Wilson Ltd from 1997 to 2009. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Honours degree in Building Services & Environmental Engineering from the University of Liverpool, obtained from 1991 to 1995.
