Denise Larousse, RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Critical Care RN, providing care to critically ill patients and taking on responsibilities such as orienting new nursing staff and acting as a charge nurse. In 1995, they transitioned to become an RN clinical manager in the Operating Room (OR), where they assisted with managing a 16-room surgery department and was responsible for ongoing education and training. Denise also served as a project lead for the initial preference card build and electronic scheduling system. In 2005, Denise became a Clinical Informatics Analyst, designing, building, and supporting all nursing clinical applications. Denise led projects for McKesson HED and Cerner SurgiNet/Anesthesia clinical applications. In 2007, they joined Seaside Health Care as an RN/Data Analyst for a 16-bed inpatient psych unit, where they collected and abstracted data for Core Measures of the psychiatric patient. Since 2016, Denise has been working at LCMC Health, initially as an RN Clinical Systems Analyst (Epic Certified), and currently, as the Applications Team Lead for Epic OpTime/Anesthesia.

Denise Larousse, RN obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from the Charity/Delgado School of Nursing in 1993. In terms of additional certifications, Denise obtained Epic Anesthesia Certification and Epic OpTime Certification from Epic in August 2016 and June 2016, respectively. Additionally, they obtained the CNOR certification from AORN in 1998. There is no information provided regarding the obtaining of the ACLS and CPI certifications.
