Scottie Morey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Scottie began their career in the US Army as a 74B - Information Operator/Analyst from February 2002 to August 2005. Following this, they joined the Algiers Charter School Association as a PC/Network Technician in 2006. In 2007, Scottie became the Technology Coordinator at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Academy.

In 2008, Scottie joined Interior Exterior Building Supply as the Director of Information Technology, a role they held until June 2015. Scottie then transitioned to Ochsner Health System, where they served as a System Administrator for the IS Clinical Applications Team from June 2015 to June 2016. Scottie then moved into the position of Project Manager for the same team from June 2016 to April 2019.

Recently, Scottie became a part of LCMC Health as an IT Project Manager II - Clinical Applications from April 2019 to January 2020. Currently, they hold the role of a System IT Facilities Project Manager III - IT Facilities at the same organization, starting in January 2020.

Scottie obtained their Masters Degree in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Masters Degree in Business Administration at ITT Technical Institute from 2008 to 2010. Before pursuing their masters, they earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Systems Security from ITT Technical Institute from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Scottie briefly studied Computer Science and Information Security at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 and 2006.

In addition to their extensive education, Scottie has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Scottie earned the Agile and Test Management Implementation certification from ServiceNow in September 2019. In August 2019, they obtained the ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management certification from the same institution. Prior to that, in June 2019, they obtained certifications in ServiceNow Agent Intelligence and ServiceNow Virtual Agent. Finally, in December 2018, Scottie achieved the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
