Tonya Miller Johnson

Tonya Miller Johnson has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Tonya started their career at ComEd an Exelon Company as a Sr. Digital Support Analyst from 1998 to 2002. Tonya then worked at Access Community Health Network as an Application Analyst from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Sinai Health System as an Information Services System Analyst until 2005. Tonya then joined Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare as a Senior Application Analyst and worked there for 10 years, from 2005 to 2015. Currently, they are working at LCMC Health since 2015, holding positions such as IT Manager and Lead Rev Cycle/Patient Access Analyst.

Tonya Miller Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer and Information Systems from DeVry University, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Alongside their degree, Tonya also attained several certifications in the field of healthcare information technology. In 2002, they obtained a certification in Meditech from Sinai Chicago. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained certifications in Allscripts EHR and TouchWorks Scan, as well as Allscripts Practice Management from Edward Hospital. In 2010, Tonya earned certifications in Epic Claims/Remittance, Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, and Epic Resolute Professional Billing, all from Edward Hospital.
