David Chait

David Chait is a member of the advisory board at LCR Capital Partners. David previously served as senior policy advisor to the administrator at the US Small Business Administration from February 2010 to January 2012. In this role, Chait was responsible for developing, reviewing, and advising on overall policy options with regard to issues impacting the small business community and the agency. David also facilitated the design and implementation of new SBA programs, including those related to the Small Business Jobs Act, the SBA Supply Chain / Manufacturing Initiative, the Community Advantage loan program, international patent protection, and the $90 million State Trade and Export Promotion Grant program. Chait represented the SBA in high-level policy meetings and discussions with agency officials, congressional leaders, representatives of the business community, and the general public. David also conducted cross-country outreach, including giving over 20 speeches and presentations. Chait's published work includes "Small Business Financing and the Post-2008 Credit Paradigm: The U.S. Small Business Administration and Key Factors to Support Traditional Credit Markets" (2011).

David Chait's educational career includes receiving an MBA from Columbia University - Columbia Business School with Dean's Honors, as well as an M.A. in Economics - Political Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
