Keith Hersel

Keith Hersel is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in telecommunications and systems integration. Currently serving as Telecom Engineering Manager for Strategic Projects at the LCRA since July 2022, Keith previously held multiple roles at Motorola Solutions from 2004 to 2022, including Engineering Manager for Commercial Markets, where management of a remote team supported utility, oil & gas, and manufacturing clients across the U.S. As the Principal Staff Systems Engineer, Keith led the implementation of a statewide P25 radio system for a public utility, ensuring contractual compliance. Keith's earlier experience includes significant contributions to the City of Houston's P25 Public Safety Radio System and development of communications systems for the petrochemical sector. Keith holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
