Oliver Schofield has extensive work experience in various roles across different companies. Oliver started their career as a Finance Summer Intern at Wellcome Trust in 2012. Oliver then worked as a Summer Intern at Balderton Capital and as a Commercial Analysis Intern at The Hut Group in 2013. Later that year, Oliver also had a Winter Vacation Scheme role at Allen & Overy.

In 2014, they joined RBC Capital Markets as Leveraged Finance and worked there until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Oliver worked at Goldman Sachs in a Leveraged Finance role.

In 2019, Oliver joined LDC as an Investment Director. Oliver held this position until the present time.

More recently, Oliver has taken on multiple Non-Executive Director roles. In 2021, they became a Non-Executive Director at Hybrid. In 2023, they joined Idwal and The Barrister Group as Non-Executive Directors.

Oliver Schofield's education history begins in 2008 when they attended King Edward's School, Bath, and completed their GCSEs. From 2009 to 2011, they pursued A Levels (A2) at the same institution. In 2011, Oliver enrolled at the University of Oxford, where they studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2014. During their time at Oxford, in 2012-2013, they also engaged in the OPAL Vantage P&E program, focusing on French studies. In 2014, they attended the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment) and earned a Certificate in Corporate Finance. Later, in 2016, Oliver began their studies in the CFA Programme at the CFA Institute, the duration of which is unspecified.
